This 3 ply worsted spun DK weight yarn was created from the flock of Two Sisters Farm in Waldoboro, Maine.  Bluefaced Leicester produce a vibrant, medium staple length fleece, with good crimp.  Soft but still hard wearing, it is the perfect yarn for sweaters, hats, and mittens.

Like all my dyed yarn, I used only plant based dyes (organic when possible) and a few assists to achieve bright, light fast colors. Many of my colors include natural indigo.  If you are not familiar with the vagaries of working with natural indigo dyed yarn, please read "A Note About Indigo".
